List of international cricket centuries by Ijaz Ahmed : ウィキペディア英語版 | List of international cricket centuries by Ijaz Ahmed
Ijaz Ahmed is a former Pakistani cricketer who played international cricket for Pakistan in 250 One Day Internationals (also known as ODI's) and 60 Test matches from 1986 to 2001. He has scored centuries 12 times in Test matches and 10 times in One Day Internationals. Ijaz is one of only five Pakistani batsmen, along with Inzamam ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez (10 ODI centuries each), Mohammad Yousuf (15 ODI centuries) and Saeed Anwar (20 ODI centuries), to cross the landmark of making 10 One Day International centuries for Pakistan. In One Day Internationals, he scored 6,564 runs with a batting average of 32.33 per innings. In Test matches, Ijaz scored 3,315 runs with a batting average of 36.67 per innings. Ijaz Ahmed was also regarded as one of the best fielders that Pakistan had ever produced. He was sometimes referred to as the best Pakistani batsman against Australia, as 6 of his 12 Test centuries were against that team. His highest score in One Day Internationals came in 1997 against India, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where he clobbered 10 fours and nine sixes en route to scoring 139 * runs off 84 balls at a strike rate of 165.47. He remained not out. Pakistan won the match, and Ijaz was named man of the match for his innings. His highest score in Test matches came in 1999 against Sri Lanka, at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, where he scored 211 runs off 372 balls at a strike rate of 56.72, before he was stumped. Pakistan went on to win the match and the series in which they were playing. Ijaz Ahmed, once again, was declared man of the match. Incidentally, none of his centuries were scored at a strike rate of less than 100.00. His career strike rate was 80.30. ==Key==
